Dear Residents of Bexar County:

Since I announced my run for Bexar County District Attorney, I have been humbled by the outpouring of support and well wishes that I have received from people of all walks of life – from teachers to attorneys, healthcare workers to law enforcement officers, working mothers to military dads, and so many more. They are all saying the same thing: Way to go, Joe!

I think it is because I share their concerns about the safety and well-being of our families, children, and seniors.

I see what you see. Violent crime is on the rise in our community, and instead of focusing on this critical problem, our current District Attorney chooses to misuse the office to promote a radical anti-vaccine agenda that goes against proven medical research and does nothing to take violent criminals off our streets and out of our neighborhoods.

It is time for a change. We need a leader with integrity and even temperament, and someone who is solidly focused on doing the job of a District Attorney. I come with almost 30 years of experience as a former prosecutor, judge and now criminal defense attorney. I know the challenges we face and how to work to solve them.
